PROGRAM

A 3-year apprenticeship program, a hands-on experience covering the entire process of eyewear development.
The three-year course varies widely in style, content and aims according to the professional profiles it is addressed to. Product School apprentices will have the opportunity to get the full picture of each department of the company, deepening all areas of production, from design to development, from prototyping, engineering to industrial production, from demand planning to distribution. The program also includes hands-on experience with sales agents and opticians.
The program also foresees meaningful skill building inspired by principles and values at Safilo.
1st YEAR

The first year will provide a base knowledge of the eyewear sector, mainly through learning on the job in the different areas of the company, and will offer formal mentoring in the targeted areas.
2nd - 3rd YEAR

The second and the third year will progressively increase the hours of individual coaching, while few time will still be devoted to formal classroom teaching.

The Product School program includes working alongside a qualified teaching staff, comprising company experts and managers as well as external professionals who share their experience and knowledge to, in turn, prompt experimentations that the new generations will create to take the industry to new levels forward.
